Each month our staff has an opportunity to participate in "Jean Day". They pay to opt out of the standard dress code and wear jeans for the day. The money raised is then donated to an organization that has been nominated for the month.
This month an organization called A Little Easier Recovery was chosen. Their mission is to make "a little easier recovery" for the next person that must endure cancer treatment recovery. They help donate recovery jackets to hospitals who distribute them free to breast cancer patients. The Jacki (jacket) restores independence, dignity ,warmth and helps a patient feel more like a person again. It is a sophisticated alternative to the hospital gown or "johnny". www.alittleeasierrecovery.org
